Keeping Hope
Synopsis
If the Kimberley was a country, at times it would have the highest suicide rates in the world.
The vast majority are young First Nations men.
Mark Coles Smith, a First Nations actor who grew up in the Kimberley, returns to try to discover why this is the case. It's a subject that’s close to Mark’s heart – his best friend committed suicide at just 23.
On his journey, Mark meets some remarkable people directly affected by suicide who are now making a real and hopeful difference in its prevention.
